As one of our React developers, you will pioneer new ways for consumers to interact with technology and deliver world-class experiences on emerging technologies across a host of global clientele in Sport and Entertainment. You will be involved from conception to completion with solutions that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.

The business unit hiring for this role is DIGITAL STREAMING.

A leading OTT and Digital products and services provider delivering best-of-breed software and components as well as comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices including smart TVs, set-top boxes and gaming consoles
• As a Senior an opportunity to lead a team of developers across regions

A Software Engineer with a love for technology, and:

• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model or Advanced Vanilla JavaScript, CSS3 & HTML5 development skills
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• JS build systems (e.g. grunt/gulp)
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
• Desire to work in an Agile environment
• Good management and organisational skills
• Expertise with responsive web sites and mobile rendering (tablets/smartphones)
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Experience working for a global employer
• Able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days working in the Mumbai office in Goregaon
• Knowledge and interest in cricket will be a bonus for this role

Bonus Knowledge

• Knowledge of BEM convention
• CSS processors (Sass or LESS)
• Experience with BDD/Unit testing in web environment (e.g. by using Jasmine)
• Knowledge of Material Design
• Proficiency with ALM/code re tools (git in particular)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
